The Specialist Defence & Security Convention UK (SDSC-UK) is the UK’s most diverse and forward-thinking defence and security Expo

The event is an active touchpoint for leading-edge technology and strategic thinking, bringing together the UK's leading innovators to create a forum for mutually beneficial commercial discussions between industry, armed forces, government, law enforcement and emergency services.

SDSC-UK (formerly 3CDSE) was initiated in 2017, to provide an enhanced networking forum for Three Counties Regional Defence and Security Cluster (3CRDSC) members. The first event was held in a theatre in Hereford, and welcomed 30 exhibitors and 400 visitors, the total capacity of the theatre. The event was hailed a success - so much so it quickly outgrew its original home and in 2018 moved to the Three Counties Showground, Malvern.

Fast forward to 2019, when the event was held over two days and welcomed over 100 exhibitors and 1500 visitors.

The format of the event provides on day one, an MOD Special Projects Industry Day, where team leaders from Defence Equipment and Support (DE&S) and Strategic Command (UK StratCom) set out their programme of requirements for the forthcoming period.

The second day of the event is an Exhibition and Conference, at which in 2022 over 120 MOD team leaders and a delegation from US DOD DEVCOM attended, meeting and engaging with Exhibitors.
